What is a cookie, anyway?
A cookie is a small text file. When you visit our site, it is saved by your browser and read back on later visits.
Some cookies vanish the moment you close the tab. Others stay for days or months so we can remember your language, your login, or whether you have already seen a notice. We also use similar technologies — pixels and local storage — and we treat them under the same rules described here.
Giving and withdrawing consent
